Ignis was conceived in 2018 when Peter Jones, Ignis founder and CEO, met an upcoming young golfer called James Newton. A friendship was formed and initial support was offered. Later that year James won the Irish Amateur Championship at Co. Sligo in Northern Island. From this initial meeting, Ignis has been created and currently manages 4 male professional golfers who play on the Europro tour. Ignis also has 2 lady golfers who currently play Ladies European Tour, Access series.

Based in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, big plans are in progress to build a state of the art training complex which will have a golf simulator at the heart of the new build. The centre will also have a gym, pool and sauna featuring a custom built putting green on the roof. It will also feature a 94 yard par 3 and a long iron driving range.
